Season 1
- E1 Episode 101 Six celebrities and their professional partners compete live! The first competition has the couples doing either the Cha Cha or a Waltz. Edyta, Charlotte and Ashly will lead their partners Evander, John and Joey in the Cha Cha while Louis, Jonathan and Alec will lead their partners in the Waltz.
- E2 Episode 102 This week the contestants must learn the Rumba and the Quickstep. It is the last week for all six teams to compete together. The first elimination based on viewer votes and the judges' scores will take place, leaving just five couples remaining in the competition.
- E3 Episode 103 After Trista and Louis were the first couple to be eliminated, five teams remain to show their stuff on the dance floor. This week’s teams showcase the Tango (John O’Hurley, Rachel Hunter and their partners), and a Jive (Evander Holyfield, Joey McIntyre, Kelly Monaco and their parters). Who dance their way to the top and who will have to hang up their dancing shoes?
- E4 Episode 104 With Evander and Edyta voted out last week, only four couples remain.
- E5 Episode 105 Even though they scored well with the judges, Rachel and Jonathan didn’t find favor with the audience and were eliminated. Now just three couples remain. This week John, Joey, and Kelly will dance the Paso Doble and the Foxtrot.
- E6 Episode 106 John and Kelly are the two remaining celebrities and face each other in tonight's finale dance-off.
- E7 Dance Off Kelly Monaco and John O'Hurley will return to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom for a so-called "dance-off" on Sept. 20. The results, based solely on viewer voting, will be announced in a Sept. 22 telecast.

- E1 Episode 201 Meet the new celebrity dance contestants and their professional dance partners. The women perform the Waltz and the men perform the Cha Cha.
- E2 Episode 201A Kenny Mayne & dance partner Andrea Hale are voted of the show. Burt Bacharach performs.
- E3 Episode 202 With one couple out of the game , the other nine couples perform the Quickstep and Rumba.
- E4 Episode 202A Tatum O'Neal was the next star voted out. Jesse McCartney performs.
- E5 Episode 203 The eight remaining celebrities must dance the Jive and the Tango in order not to be the next ones sent home.
- E6 Episode 203A Giselle Fernandez and Jonathan Roberts are voted off the show. The Style Elements Crew performs.
- E7 Episode 204 Tonight's featured dances were the Foxtrot and the Paso Doble. According to judge Len Goodman, the Foxtrot should be an elegant dance filled with gentle rises and falls. The Paso Doble is the most theatrical dance in ballroom, best known thanks to the fantastic film, Strictly Ballroom. In the Paso Doble, the man must portray the arrogant, macho matador and the woman acts as his cape.
- E8 Episode 204A Master P and Ashly Delgrosso are voted off the show finally. The Pussycat Dolls strutted their stuff singing their hit single, "Don't Cha." They treated viewers to a performance of their single "Sway," as professional dancers Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya danced the Cha Cha.
- E9 Episode 205 With P. Miller out of the game the real competion begins. Each team must perform two dances each - individual couple Sambas and then a Group Salsa.
- E10 Episode 205A The dancing couple of Tia Carrere & Maksim Chmerkovskiy are voted out of the competion. Barry Manilow performed three songs. The 2005 World Mambo champions perform.
- E11 Episode 206 With Tia out now, the five remaining stars must again learn two dance routines in order to maintain their shot at the trophy. They perform the Jive, Tango, Paso Doble, Quickstep, and the Rumba.
- E12 Episode 206A Former Righteous Brother Bill Medley will be performing his Oscar-winning hit "(I've Had) The Time of Life" from the movie "Dirty Dancing," Medley will be joined by his daughter, McKenna Medley, as professional dancers Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani recreate Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey's memorable routine. In addition, backed by a choir, New Zealand born Natasha Bedingfield will dazzle us with a performance of her latest single, "Unwritten." And though he may be out of the competition, Maksim Chmerkovskiy's dance teachings live on in a performance by his students - Sergey Onik, Michelle Glazarov, Valeria Kazherinova, Nicole Volynets, Valentin Chmerkivskiy and Boris Leokumovich -- who will be dancing the Jive to "Mambo #5."
- E13 Episode 207 George Hamilton has left the floor. The final four couples must battle it out in the semifinals with two dances they've never done before. Who will make it to the finals?
- E14 Episode 207A Lisa Rinna & Louis van Amstel are voted off the show. Michael Bublé performs "For Once in My Life" and "The Way You Look Tonight." This week he serenades audiences on the "Dancing with the Stars" stage with his rendition of "Save the Last Dance for Me" from his latest album, "It's Time," as professional dancers Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska dance the cha cha. He also accompanies professional dancers Nick Kosovich and Andrea Hale who dance the foxtrot as he sings "Moondance" off his highly successful sophomore album, "Come Fly with Me." Host Tom Bergeron will join Master P's former partner, Ashly Delgrosso, in a heroic attempt at the quickstep.
- E15 Episode 208 With Lisa Rinna out, the other three stars are left to battle it out in the finals. Each couple must dance two dances, which will include a freestyle dance. Also Samantha Harris Makes her Ballroom Dancing Debut.
- E16 Episode 208A Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are crowned Dancing with the stars champion. Also Mary J. Blige perfroms two of her hit singles and all the celebrity dancers are back to perform one last time.
Season 3
- E1 Episode 301 Season Premiere. The contestants are introduced. The men performed the Cha Cha and the women performed the Foxtrot.
- E2 Episode 301A The first team of dancers is eliminated. The professional dancer perform a group choreographed Mambo. Tom Jones performs “It’s Not Unusual” and “She’s A Lady.” Tucker Carlson is the first person to be voted off in season 3.
- E3 Episode 302 The men danced the Quickstep and the women danced the Mambo.
- E4 Episode 302A Shanna Moakler and Jesse DeSoto are eliminated. Julio Iglesias performs "Singing "I Want to Know What Love Is" as Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke perform the Ramba. The professional dancers perform the Jive to "Rebel Yell." Caballero and Claudia Velasco perform the Argentinean Tango to "Dance Away."
- E5 Episode 303 The dancers compete to the Jive and the Tango.
- E6 Episode 303A Harry Hamlin and Ashly DelGrosso are eliminated. The Scissor Sisters perform "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'." The professional dancers performing a group paso doble to the music of tenor Vittorio Grigolo.
- E7 Episode 304 The contestants get to choose between the Paso Doble and the Waltz.

- E9 Episode 305 The remaining teams perform the Samba and the Rumba in tribute to Carnivale.
- E10 Episode 305A Willa Ford and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are eliminated. Edyta Sliwinska and Kym Johnson dance to Rod Stewart singing "Hot Legs." He also performs "Fooled Around And Fell In Love." The professional dancers perform a freestyle disco to Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland."
- E11 Episode 306 The remaining dancers compete to a ballroom dance style they have not yet attempted. All remaining teams also participate in a Group Freestyle Dance. Sara Evans addresses her withdrawal from the competition in an exclusive interview with Tom Bergeron.
- E12 Episode 306A No one is eliminated this week because of Sara Evan's dropping out. Lionel Richie performs classic hit "All Night Long" and "I Call It Love" from his new album.
- E13 Episode 307 In Week 7, the show was split into two rounds: a Ballroom round, followed by a Latin round. The scores from both of tonight's rounds were added to the judges' scores from last week, for a total possible score of 90 points.
- E14 Episode 307A The seventh team is eliminated, leaving only the top four to compete next week. Martina McBride is the live musical performance this evening.
- E15 Episode 308 This is the eight round of the competition. The remaining four teams will compete by dancing one ballroom style dance and one Latin dance. They will repeat the same two styles next week as well. The four remaining teams are competing to see who is going to make it to the final two on November 14, 2006.
- E16 Episode 308A Monique Coleman and Louis van Amstel are eliminated, leaving the Final Three who are Joey & Edyta Sliwinska, Mario Lopez & Karina Smirnoff, and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke, to dance in next week's semi-finals. Former contestant Willa Ford returns in a live musical performance to the song "Fame." The Opera group Il Divo performs.
- E17 Episode 309 This is the semifinal round. The remaining three contestants dance to their favorite ballroom style and then a Latin dance.
- E18 Episode 309A The last dancer is eliminated before the winner is announced next week. The remaining two will compete next week for the title. The Pet Shop Boys performed "West End Girls."
- E19 Episode 310 The remaining two dance couples compete for the trophy. Emmitt and Mario will compete by performing three dances each. The first is their favorite routine from earlier in the season - Mario has chosen the Paso Doble and Emmitt has picked the Mambo. Both Mario and Emmitt will dance a Samba to the same song - a Dancing With the Stars first. Finally, each will perform a Freestyle dance.
- E20 Episode 310A Tonight is filled with special dance performances. The eliminated celebrities return for one last spin around the dance floor. The winner is announced.

- E2 Week 2 - Performances In the second week the couples will dance either the Quickstep or the Jive. Pairs, who have performed a Ballroom Dance last week will perform Latin and vice versa.

- E4 Week 2 - Eliminations The judge's results from yesterday and last week will be joined with the public voting. The couple with the lowest combined total will be eliminated. Chris Brown is the guest performer.
- E5 Week 3 - Performances Five pairs will be dancing the Rumba, the others will dance Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Waltz, Samba and the Foxtrot. It's personal story telling night and the celebrities have to tell their personal stories through their dance.
- E6 Week 3 - Eliminations The judge's results from yesterday will be joined with the public voting. The couple with the lowest combined total will be eliminated. Selena Gomez and One Republic are the guest performers.
- E7 Week 4 - Performances In the fourth week of the competition the celebrities and their pro-dancer partners will dance the Paso Doble, the Waltz or the Viennese Waltz.
- E8 Week 4 - Eliminations Jennifer Hudson and David Garrett are the guest stars tonight. The couple with the lowest combined votes of the judges and public voting will be eliminated.
- E9 Week 5 - Performances In honour of Patriot's Day the couples will be dancing to all American songs. American week dances include Quickstep, Foxtrot, Samba, Rumba and Viennese Waltz.
- E10 Week 5 - Eliminations The fifth-round results show. Also: Toby Keith performs two songs, and Jamal Sims choreographs a dance number.
- E11 Week 6 - Performances Seven couples left to indulge themselves in "Guilty Pleasure Week". Dances this week are Samba, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Tango and Viennese Waltz.
- E12 Week 6 - Eliminations Having combined the judge's scores with the viewers' votes another couple will be leaving. Guest stars this week are New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys and Pia Toscano.
- E13 Week 7 - Performances The remaining six couples will be dancing an unlearned dance featuring Jive, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Samba and Tango. Then they will be participating at the Cha Cha Cha Challenge.
- E14 Week 7 - Eliminations The sixth celebrity is eliminated.Team Chelsea perform a great encore dance.Along with performances from James Blunt and a rousing tribute to James Brown from Wayne Brady.
- E15 Week 8 - Performances Five couples are left. First they will showcase an unlearned ballroom dance, then they will have to instantly choreograph and perform a latin dance.
- E16 Week 8 - Eliminations In the results night before the semi-finals Adele and Michael Bolton are performing. Having combined the judge's scores with the viewer's votes only four teams will proceed.
- E17 Week 9 - Performances In the semi-finals Chelsea, Kirstie, Ralph, Hines and their pro partners, will dance one unlearned ballroom and one unlearned latin dance to finally participate in the Cha Cha Cha Marathon, where the winner takes all the points.
- E18 Week 9 - Eliminations It's crunch time as we head into the Results Show that will determine which three couples will be dancing in the finals. Right out of the gate, Hines & Kym learn they are safe. No neck injury is going to keep this team from going after that coveted Mirrorball Trophy. The legendary Stevie Nicks gets the crowd going with a performance of her new song "Secret Love." She's followed by a rousing routine from rapper Pitbull, featuring Ne-Yo and Nayer. A short time later, an inspirational young lady with a life-threatening disease takes to the stage. Her name is Tayla Kelley and she wows the crowd enough to earn a standing ovation for her dance routine. In between all that fun, Chelsea and Mark learn they are headed for the finals. Stevie Nicks returns to perform the classic Fleetwood Mac tune "Landslide" for an appreciative crowd. The cheers she receives continue as we learn that Kirstie & Maks are moving on. That means Ralph & Karina are headed home. The former Karate Kid turned out to be a fine Dancing Man during his impressive run. His gracious, genuine personality will be missed. Now it's onto the finals!
- E19 Week 10 - Final 3 The three finalists Chelsea, Hines and Kirstie and their Pro-Dancer partners will be competing for the mirror ball trophy. The finalists will dance a redemption dance picked by the judges and then the highly anticipated freestyle.

Lady Antebellum is the special guest star of the two-hour Season 13 Finale. They'll perform the television debut of "Dancing Away with My Heart" and then their mega-hit "Need you Know". The winner of season 13 will be announced and will get the most anticipated mirror ball trophy.

- E3 Week 3: Most Memorable Year Robin Roberts joins the judges panel for this week's competition as couples perform dances inspired by the stars most memorable years. Injuries claim their first victim as Billy Dee Williams is unable to perform and is disqualified.
- E4 Week 4: Switch Up Night Julianne Hough returns to the show as a guest judge once again. In a change of pace the entire cast opens the show with a wild group dance. Then the contestants switch partners for the competition based on the home audience's Twitter votes. Scores are combined with last week's for next week's elimination. In a special surprise Derek shows off his first choreographed routine for the Macy's Stars of Dance.
- E5 Week 5: Disney Night The couples are back with their original partners and Donny Osmond joins the judges panel for Disney night. A few Disney characters find their way into some of the dances.
- E6 Week 6: Party Anthems Night Redfoo joins the judges panel this week. Macys Stars of Dance return to perform Derek's choreography.
- E7 Week 7: Latin Night Ricky Martin joins the show for the always popular Latin night as a guest judge and performer. Injuries begin to take their toll especially among the ladies leading up to the team dance.
- E8 Week 8: Celebrity Dance Duels Mark Ballas opens the show with a vocal number. After performing their tradition dances, pairs of couples perform synchronized dances.
- E9 Week 9: American Icons American Icons Night The semifinalists performed two unlearned dances to songs by American music icons.
